The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I LOVE Christmas time!! I am so excited that Bryce and I are pregnant at this time and we can't wait to have this baby in a matter of months. We have decided to find out what we are having with our first child, just for my sanity. As an extra special bonus, we get to have our ultrasound in one week and we are going to have the doctor write down if it's a boy or a girl, put it in an envelope, then we will open it on Christmas Day! That doesn't happen very often and we can't wait! So being pregnant definitely has had it's challenges. I've been emotional, sick and have had weird cravings. But, I will have to say that the weirdest thing I have eaten so far has been pickles and Nutella. I know gross, but it is so good. I am definitely pregnant. Anyway I am so happy that it is Christmas time and that the spirit of Christmas is all around. I hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

News

So it has been an eventful month!! Whew. Bryce and I had a great opportunity to visit my sister Haleigh in Maryland which was loads of fun and exhausting. We also found out that....We are pregnant! Yay! The baby is due in June and we are soooooooooooooo excited. We know that it is exactly the right time and we are thrilled that we are starting our little family. Other than that, there's not much excitement. Which in all honesty is great since I'm sick a lot. Oh the wonderful joys of pregnancy (which I do love a lot...no sarcasm whatsoever). Anywhoo, hoping some people are reading. Loves from us.

September

So since Bryce and I don't have any kids yet and we don't do many super cool things, I thought it would be pointless to update every day or every other day to bore people out of their minds (for those who even know our blog exists haha). Anyway I thought once a month would do. SO, September has been a fun and eventful month so far...even though there is only like 10 days left (yay! then its holiday season). Bryce and I have been really into fishing lately at Sandhollow Reservoir, and yes if you are wondering we do have our fishing licenses, thank you very much. And so we have been going nearly every weekend!! We have this awesome fishing boat we go out on and it is a blast. Bryce caught a huge one the last time we went :) Now Bryce has started his new job (more like new 3 jobs) that has taken him to Nevada and California so far. We just went to California for his own business this last weekend and were able to go to the beautiful San Diego Temple. It was sooooooo beautiful. Then we went running on the beach which, by the way, was my first run for me since I had my injury. I know that 1/4 mile is laughable for both Bryce and I, but I had to start somewhere and he has been right by side. Literally :) So we got back from California on Saturday night at like super late but it was so fun to get out of St. George even if it was only for 2 days. So then on Sunday we got home from church and Bryce went to water our little garden we have been "trying" to grow with some success (like 3 or 4 small tomato's) while I was making dough for cinnamon rolls, I have become quite obsessed with baking and such, and Bryce starts yelling for me to come out. So I come out and lo and behold we have a bunch of cucumbers growing (three that have actually gotten to the 'I look like a cucumber' state though), a ton more tomato's and several honeydew melon's growing. I've never been more excited in my life. I think the stormy weather has helped that we've had here in bone dry Utah. I'm so happy that it was stormy for a little bit. It gave St. George a chance to cool down and start to feel like Autumn. I can't wait for the holidays! Hooray! October is going to be great with the start of yummy food, games, and the beginning of the holidays. I can't wait for Halloween. Bryce and I are going to decorate our house and little drive way. You'll have to stop by and see. If not there will be lots of pictures. So until October, have a good one!

Our Life!

So it's been a few months since Bryce and I got married and I have decided to start a blog for those of you who live away from us and want to know what we are up to since we are both anti-facebook. So updates... Bryce and I were married May 26, 2011 and we honeymooned in Redondo Beach, California and had so much fun. We are living in St. George in a basement apartment and love the area. We have a great ward and couldn't be happier. Bryce and I have had a couple challenges in the first few months of our marriage. I developed a bad foot injury that has taken 2 months to heal, not to mention the sicknesses we have both had (super fun). Bryce has recently received a new job that he started at the first of this week which we are both super excited for, especially since he will be out of the sun. We appreciate all the love and support we have received from all of our friends and family! Thank you all!
